Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kartusche (1) für ein viskoses Material (31), die sich in eine Kartuschenpistole (100) einsetzen lässt und umfasst: einen zylinderförmigen Kartuschenkörper (10) mit einem proximalen Ende (11) und einem distalen Ende (12), eine Kartuschenkappe (20), die an dem distalen Ende (12) des Kartuschenkörpers (10) angeordnet ist und einen Abgabeauslass (21) aufweist, und eine Kolbeneinheit (40) mit einem Außenkolben (41), einem Innenkolben (42) sowie einem Spreitzring (49), wobei sich Außenkolben (41), Innenkolben (42) und Spreitzring (49) entlang einer Längsachse (13) des Kartuschenkörpers (10) verschieben lassen, wobei der Außenkolben (41) durch den Spreitzring (42) in radialer Richtung aufgeweitet wird, wenn der Innenkolben (42) durch die Kartuschenpistole (100) gegen den Spreitzring (49) bzw. den Außenkolben (41) gedrückt wird. Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass der Innenkolben (42) einen Kolbenkörper (50) aufweist, in dem wenigstens ein Schlitz (63) vorgesehen ist, der sich in axialer Richtung von dem Spreitzring (49) bis zu einer Ansetzfläche (62) für einen Druckteller (101) der Kartuschenpistole (100) erstreckt.
