Abstract[English]
The invention relates to a method and device for coding and decoding an image sequence. The decoding method comprises the following steps for a current image: - obtaining at least one feature map of a first group of decoded feature maps representative of at least one image separate from the current image. - decoding a second group of feature maps representative of the current image comprising, for at least one value, entropy decoding according to a neighbourhood comprising at least one decoded value extracted from at least one reference map: - decoding an artificial neural network; and - for at least one sample of the current image: - constructing a feature vector from the feature maps of the second group, according to the position of the current sample; and - processing the vector by the artificial neural network in order to provide a decoded value of the sample.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé et dispositif de codage et décodage d'une séquence d'images. Le procédé de décodage comporte les étapes suivantes pour une image courante : - obtention d'au moins une carte de caractéristiques d'un premier groupe de cartes de caractéristiques décodées représentatives d'au moins une image distincte de l'image courante. - décodage d'un deuxième groupe de cartes de caractéristiques représentatives de l'image courante comprenant, pour au moins une valeur, un décodage entropique en fonction d'un voisinage comprenant au moins une valeur décodée extraite d'au moins une carte de référence : - décodage d'un réseau de neurones de synthèse; - pour au moins un échantillon de l'image courante: - construction d'un vecteur caractéristique à partir des cartes de caractéristiques du deuxième groupe, en fonction de la position dudit échantillon courant, et : - traitement du vecteur par ledit réseau de neurones de synthèse pour fournir' une valeur décodée de l'échantillon.
