Abstract[English]
The invention relates to a processing method for reducing channels of a stereophonic signal to obtain a monophonic signal, comprising, for a current frame: - a first step of selection (305) of a channel-reducing processing operation between two methods using filtering of the stereophonic signal and re-phasing of the signals, the selection being carried out according to a phase indicator (302), representative of a measurement of the degree of phase opposition between the frequency components of the channels of the stereo signal, - a second step of selection (307) between one of the two methods, selected at the end of the first selection step and a processing method for reducing channels without re-phasing, the selection being carried out according to the value of an energy ratio (306) between the channels of the stereo signal. Traitement optimisé de réduction de canaux d'un signal audio stéréophonique L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de traitement de réduction de canaux d'un signal stéréophonique pour obtenir un signal monophonique comprenant, pour une trame courante : - une première étape de sélection (305) d'un traitement de réduction de canaux entre deux méthodes utilisant un filtrage du signal stéréophonique et une remise en phase des signaux, la sélection s'effectuant selon un indicateur de phase (302), représentatif d'une mesure de degré d'opposition de phase entre les composantes fréquentielles des canaux du signal stéréo, - une deuxième étape de sélection (307) entre une des deux méthodes, sélectionnée à l'issue de la première étape de sélection et une méthode de traitement de réduction de canaux sans remise en phase, la sélection s'effectuant selon la valeur d'un ratio d'énergie (306) entre les canaux du signal stéréo. L'invention se rapporte également à un dispositif de traitement de réduction de canaux mettant en œuvre le procédé.
