Die Erfindung betrifft ein Assistenzsystem (9) und ein entsprechendes Verfahren (15) zum Warnen eines Fahrers (2) in einem assistierten oder teilautomatisierten Fahrbetrieb eines Kraftfahrzeugs (1). Demgemäß wird bei einer erstmaligen Ablenkung des Fahrers (2) eine Ablenkungswarnung (14) nach Ablauf einer ersten Warnzeitspanne, während derer der Fahrer (2) abgelenkt war, ausgegeben. Ist der Fahrer (2) innerhalb einer vorgegebenen Wiederholungszeitspanne erneut abgelenkt, so wird dann bereits nach einer kürzeren zweiten Warmzeit eine Ablenkungswarnung (14) an den Fahrer (2) ausgegeben. Die Erfindung betrifft auch ein entsprechend eingerichtetes Kraftfahrzeug (1).[English]
