Abstract[German] Bei offenen Kopfhörern ist wegen der Offenheit des im Hörer eingeschlossenen Luftvolumens die Basswiedergabe schwächer als bei geschlossenen Kopfhörern. Gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung kann das subjektive Empfinden der Wiedergabe tiefer Frequenzen bei offenen Kopfhörern verbessert werden, indem ein Schallwandler (600, 1000, 1100, 1200) mit mindestens einem integrierten Bassrohr (670, 870, 871, 1070, 1170, 1270) benutzt wird. Der Schallwandler enthält ein Chassis (640, 840, 1040, 1140, 1240), an dem eine Membran (610, 810, 1010, 1110, 1210) befestigt ist.
