Verfahren zur Steuerung einer Antriebseinheit für ein mit Muskel und/oder Motorkraft betriebenen Fahrzeugs, insbesondere Pedelec, S-Pedelec oder eBike, umfassend die folgenden Verfahrensschritte: - Ermitteln eines Drehmoments, wobei das Ermitteln des Drehmoments zu einem Zeitpunkt nach einem Initialisieren der Antriebseinheit erfolgt, - Ermitteln einer Neigung des Fahrzeugs relativ zu einer Querachse des Fahrzeugs, - Aktivieren der Antriebseinheit, wenn das Drehmoment einen ersten Schwellwert überschreitet und in einem ersten Fall, bei dem die Neigung des Fahrzeugs ein Schwellwert der Neigung nicht erreicht oder überschritten wird, und das Drehmoment zuvor einen zweiten Schwellwert erreicht oder unterschritten hat, wobei der zweite Schwellenwert kleiner als der erste Schwellenwert ist, in einem zweiten Fall, bei dem die Neigung des Fahrzeugs ein Schwellwert erreicht oder überschritten wird, die Aktivierung unabhängig von dem zweiten Schwellwert erfolgt.[English]
