Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Überprüfen einer Beförderungsfahrt (1) eines Nutzers (3), wobei - die Beförderungsfahrt (1) entlang einer Route (5) von einem Startpunkt (6) in Richtung eines Zielorts (4) mit einem Fahrzeug (7) des Nutzers (3) durchgeführt wird, - mit einer Auswerteeinheit (9) ein Soll-Ankunftszeitpunkt an dem Zielort (4) auf Basis der Route (5) bestimmt wird, - abhängig von einer aktuellen Position (13) des Fahrzeugs (7) ein Ist-Ankunftszeitpunkt bestimmt wird, - ein Vergleich des Soll-Ankunftszeitpunkts mit dem Ist-Ankunftszeitpunkt durchgeführt wird, - abhängig von dem Vergleich und von der Position (13) eine alternative Beförderungsfahrt (11) mit einem zum Fahrzeug (7) alternativen Beförderungsmittel (12), mit welchem der Zielort (4) erreicht werden kann, bestimmt wird, und - die alternative Beförderungsfahrt (11) dem Nutzer (3) mit einer elektronischen Ausgabeeinheit (14) zur Auswahl angeboten wird.
