Abstract[English] An inkjet ink includes an aqueous-based ink vehicle and 5 to 250 ppm of a polyvinyl alcohol. The ink is useful for improving the lifetime of inkjet printheads, especially printheads with inkjet nozzle devices having resistive heater elements susceptible to failure by corrosion.[French] L'invention concerne une encre pour jet d'encre qui comprend un véhicule d'encre à base aqueuse et 5 à 250 ppm d'un alcool polyvinylique. L'encre est utile pour améliorer la durée de vie des têtes d'impression à jet d'encre, en particulier des têtes d'impression avec des dispositifs de buse à jet d'encre ayant des éléments chauffants résistifs sujets aux défaillances par corrosion.
