Gemäß der Erfindung sind bei dem System und dem Verfahren zur Sitzbelegerkennung bei einem Fahrzeug ein motorisch verstellbarer Fahrzeugsitz (4), ein Radarsensor (10) sowie eine Steuereinheit (12) vorgesehen, wobei im Rahmen eines Messzyklus eine Messung mit Hilfe des Radarsensors (10) durchgeführt wird und wobei während der Durchführung der Messung eine Zwangsverstellung (∆x) des Fahrzeugsitzes (4) erfolgt und die Zwangsverstellung (∆x) für die Sitzbelegerkennung berücksichtigt und ausgewertet wird.[English]

L’invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant de détecter une occupation de siège dans un véhicule. Selon l’invention, il est prévu un siège de véhicule (4) réglable de manière motorisée, un capteur radar (10) ainsi qu'une unité de commande (12). Selon l’invention, une mesure est effectuée dans le cadre d'un cycle de mesure au moyen du capteur radar (10) et un déplacement forcé (Δx) du siège de véhicule (4) intervient pendant l'exécution de la mesure, et le déplacement forcé (Δx) est pris en compte et évalué pour la détection d'occupation du siège.
