The invention relates to a rotary piston pump (1) for sterile applications with a drive unit (10) and a conveying unit (11). The conveying unit (11) comprises a conveying chamber (2) for a medium, which conveying chamber is formed by a housing (3) and a cover (4), wherein the conveying unit (11) has a channel for temperature control.
