The present invention relates to a method of controlling weeds in susceptible turfgrass without causing significant injury to the turfgrass, comprising applying to the turfgrass a herbicidally effective amount of trifloxysulfuron, or a salt or hydrate thereof and an effective amount of metcamifen as safener.[French]
