Abstract[English]
The invention provides a protective system for a structure enclosing a fluid, such as a pipe or tank enclosing a fluid. The system comprises a containment material arranged on a fraction of an external surface of the structure. A leak detection sensor is covered by or encompassed in the containment material and the containment material is configured to collect at least a portion of the fluid in a cavity formed in the containment material thereby containing leakage of the fluid outside of the structure in the event of a leak and wherein leakage of the fluid into the containment material triggers a detection of the leak by the leak detection sensor.[French]
L'invention concerne un système de protection pour une structure renfermant un fluide, tel qu'un tuyau ou un réservoir renfermant un fluide. Le système comprend un matériau de confinement agencé sur une fraction d'une surface externe de la structure. Un capteur de détection de fuite est recouvert ou englobé dans le matériau de confinement et le matériau de confinement est configuré pour collecter au moins une partie du fluide dans une cavité formée dans le matériau de confinement, ce qui permet de contenir une fuite du fluide à l'extérieur de la structure en cas de fuite et dans lequel une fuite du fluide dans le matériau de confinement déclenche une détection de la fuite par le capteur de détection de fuite.
