This invention relates to a system and a method for determination of the tissue composition of meat products. More specifically, the invention provides a multi-directional X- ray system and a corresponding method for determining the spatial distribution and location of different subcutaneous tissue types, such as, e.g., fat, meat, bones, and cartilage, by use of multi-directional and/or multiple sources X-ray projections.[French]
La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé de détermination de la composition tissulaire de produits carnés. Plus spécifiquement, l'invention concerne un système à rayons X multidirectionnel et un procédé correspondant pour déterminer la distribution spatiale et l'emplacement de différents types de tissu sous-cutané, tels que, par exemple, la graisse, la viande, les os et le cartilage, à l'aide de projections de rayons X multidirectionnelles et/ou à sources multiples.
