The present invention proposes a cooling device (10) comprising a cabinet (20) surrounding a storage compartment (21); at least one shelf (22) provided in the storage compartment (21); a container (30) provided at the shelf (22), which comprises a drawer (31) for placing foodstuffs and a cover (32), wherein the cover (32) is movable between a closed position in which the cover (32) closes the drawer (31) and an open position in which the cover (32) and the drawer (31) are at a distance from one another; a slider unit (40) configured to move the cover (32) between the closed position and the open position, wherein the slider unit (40) is configured to be moved on the shelf (22) in a width direction (X) of the cooling device (10).[French]
