Disclosed are a display apparatus of a cooking appliance and a cooking appliance. The display apparatus includes a display unit and a control unit. The control unit is configured to display a progress pattern representing a current cooking progress through the display unit. The progress pattern includes a plurality of cooking nodes temporally spaced apart from each other. The cooking nodes represent different cooking state information of cooked food in a cooking process and are visually distinguished between each other. According to the display apparatus and the cooking appliance, an important node intervened through artificial intelligence is displayed to a user by adding the cooking state to the time progress pattern, so that the user can learn how the artificial intelligence helps cooking and can visually perceive the intelligent control.[French]
