Abstract[English]
Underbody trim part for a road vehicle comprising a porous fibrous carrier layer, the trim part featuring a longitudinal direction to be aligned with the direction of travel of the road vehicle when the part is in use and further comprising an embossed foil locally bonded to the porous fibrous carrier layer, wherein the bending stiffness of the embossed foil is at least 10% of the bending stiffness of the porous fibrous carrier layer, in at least the longitudinal direction. The trim part is particularly suited to be used as an underbody liner for a vehicle. However, it may be used also as an under-engine liner or as a wheel-house outer liner.[French]
Pièce de garniture de dessous de caisse pour un véhicule routier comprenant une couche de support fibreuse poreuse, la pièce de garniture présentant une direction longitudinale devant être alignée avec la direction de déplacement du véhicule routier lorsque la pièce est utilisée et comprenant en outre une feuille gaufrée liée localement à la couche de support fibreuse poreuse, la rigidité à la flexion de la feuille gaufrée étant d'au moins 10 % de la rigidité à la flexion de la couche de support fibreuse poreuse, dans au moins la direction longitudinale. La pièce de garniture est particulièrement appropriée pour être utilisée comme revêtement de dessous de caisse pour un véhicule. Cependant, elle peut également être utilisée en tant que revêtement sous le moteur ou en tant que revêtement externe de logement de roue.
