Abstract[English]
The present invention relates to an LC medium comprising two or more polymerizable compounds, at last one of which has absorption in the long UV wavelength range, to its use for optical, electro-optical and electronic purposes, in particular in LC displays, especially in LC displays of the PSA (polymer sustained alignment) or SA (self-aligning) mode, to an LC display of the PSA or SA mode comprising the LC medium, and to a process of manufacturing the LC display that enables minimization of production cost and energy saving.[French]
La présente invention concerne un milieu LC comprenant deux composés polymérisables ou plus, dont l'une au moins a une absorption dans la plage de longueur d'onde UV longue, son utilisation à des fins optiques, électro-optiques et électroniques, en particulier dans des écrans à cristaux liquides, en particulier dans des affichages à cristaux liquides du mode PSA (alignement soutenu par polymère) ou SA (auto-alignement), un affichage LC du mode PSA ou SA comprenant le milieu LC, et un procédé de fabrication de l'affichage LC qui permet une réduction au minimum du coût de production et une économie d'énergie.
