The invention discloses an automated method for supplying electric power to an electrical or electronic device connected to mains (4), characterized by: - after an unsolicited power failure of the mains (4) delaying the power consumption of the electrical or electronic device during switching-on of the electrical or electronic device by a randomized delay time determined by the electrical or electronic device (102), - whereby the unsolicited power failure is defined by dropping of the mains frequency by more than 2,5 Hz before a power failure, whereby the dropping is determined by the electrical or electronic device (100). L'invention concerne un procédé automatisé pour fournir de l'énergie électrique à un dispositif électrique ou électronique connecté au réseau (4), caractérisé en ce que : - après une panne de courant non sollicitée du réseau (4), la consommation d'énergie du dispositif électrique ou électronique soit retardée pendant la mise sous tension du dispositif électrique ou électronique par un temps de retard aléatoire déterminé par le dispositif électrique ou électronique (102), - la défaillance de puissance non sollicitée étant définie par la chute de la fréquence du secteur de plus de 2,5 Hz avant une défaillance de puissance, la chute étant déterminée par le dispositif électrique ou électronique (100).
