Abstract[English] A process for preparing a cathode active material for a secondary lithium-ion battery is described. The process comprises the step of the heat treatment of a metal precursor of the cathode active material in a vessel. The inner surface of the vessel is formed from a chromium-containing alloy with an aluminium diffusion coating. A rotary furnace tube with an inner surface formed from a chromium-containing alloy with an aluminium diffusion coating is also described. The rotary furnace tube is useful for the manufacture of cathode active materials for secondary lithium-ion batteries.[French] L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un matériau actif de cathode destiné à une batterie secondaire au lithium-ion. Le procédé comprend l'étape de traitement thermique d'un précurseur métallique du matériau actif de cathode dans un récipient. La surface interne du récipient est formée à partir d'un alliage contenant du chrome avec un revêtement de diffusion d'aluminium. L'invention concerne également un tube de four rotatif présentant une surface interne formée à partir d'un alliage contenant du chrome avec un revêtement de diffusion d'aluminium. Le tube de four rotatif est utile pour la fabrication de matériaux actifs de cathode destinés aux batteries au lithium-ion secondaires.
