Abstract[English]
The current disclosure describes a method of generating an interactive three-dimensional simulation of a section of the industrial facility. The method comprises obtaining a point cloud model and a three dimensional mesh model associated with the section of the industrial facility, generating a hybrid model based on the point cloud model and the three dimensional mesh model, the hybrid model includes a first part associated with the point cloud model and a second part associated with the three dimensional mesh model; and generating the interactive three dimensional simulation of the section of the industrial facility based on the hybrid model. Visual elements of the interactive three-dimensional simulation are based on the first part of the hybrid model and the physics of the interactive three-dimensional simulation are based on the second part of the hybrid model.[French]
La présente divulgation concerne un procédé de génération d'une simulation tridimensionnelle interactive d'une section de l'installation industrielle. Le procédé consiste : à obtenir un modèle de nuage de points et un modèle de maillage tridimensionnel associé à la section de l'installation industrielle ; à générer un modèle hybride sur la base du modèle de nuage de points et du modèle de maillage tridimensionnel, le modèle hybride comprenant une première partie associée au modèle de nuage de points et une seconde partie associée au modèle de maillage tridimensionnel ; et à générer la simulation tridimensionnelle interactive de la section de l'installation industrielle sur la base du modèle hybride. Des éléments visuels de la simulation tridimensionnelle interactive sont basés sur la première partie du modèle hybride et la physique de la simulation tridimensionnelle interactive est basée sur la seconde partie du modèle hybride.
