Digital Twins for quality measurements of industrial services and applications in a communication system The invention discloses an automated method for operating a communication system, - whereby first digital twins (DT1) of software-based applications running on the communication system and of corresponding hardware of the communication system configured to run the applications are continuously updated based on in the communication system measured communication related parameters, - whereby configuration settings of the communication system are modified correspondingly to the updated first digital twins, and - whereby the communication system comprises a control module (CM) configured to control an industrial device (S&A, M). La présente invention concerne un procédé automatisé pour faire fonctionner un système de communication, - des premiers jumeaux numériques (DT1) d'applications logicielles fonctionnant sur le système de communication et du matériel correspondant du système de communication configuré pour exécuter les applications étant mis à jour en continu sur la base de paramètres liés à la communication mesurés dans le système de communication, - les paramètres de configuration du système de communication étant modifiés en fonction des premiers jumeaux numériques mis à jour, et - le système de communication comprenant un module de commande (CM) configuré pour commander un dispositif industriel (S&A, M).
