Aspects concern a method for monitoring performance of an object classification system comprising the steps of: receiving an image of a sorting area, the image comprising an object to be sorted and a sorter or part thereof associated with picking the object; identifying a first region of interest from the image associated with the object to be sorted and a second region of interest from the image associated with the sorter or part thereof; determining based on the first region of interest and the second region of interest, whether the object is picked up; wherein if the object is picked up, comparing the actual object-type of the object picked up with a predicted object-type; and determining if a performance parameter is achieved.[French]
Certains aspects de l'invention concernent un procédé de surveillance des performances d'un système de classification d'objets comprenant les étapes consistant à : recevoir une image d'une zone de tri, l'image comprenant un objet à trier et une trieuse ou une partie de celle-ci associée au ramassage de l'objet ; identifier une première région d'intérêt à partir de l'image associée à l'objet à trier et une deuxième région d'intérêt à partir de l'image associée à la trieuse ou à la partie de celle-ci ; déterminer, sur la base de la première région d'intérêt et de la deuxième région d'intérêt, si l'objet est ramassé ; selon l'invention, si l'objet est ramassé, comparer le type d'objet réel de l'objet ramassé avec un type d'objet prédit ; et déterminer si un paramètre de performance est obtenu.
