Abstract[English] The invention relates to detection of a leak in a fluid containing structure, e.g. a water, oil, or gas distribution system, especially with focus on early prediction of leakage and identification of small leaks. Noise in the structure is recorded over time and the respective data set consisting of noise measures and respective points in time at which the noises have been recorded is analyzed with regard to potential trends. In case the trend analysis indicates an increase of noise, the presence of a leak is assumed.[French] L'invention concerne la détection d'une fuite dans une structure contenant un fluide, par exemple un système de distribution d'eau, de pétrole ou de gaz, centrée en particulier sur la prédiction précoce de fuites et l'identification de petites fuites. Le bruit dans la structure est enregistré dans le temps et l'ensemble de données associé constitué de mesures de bruit et de points temporels associés auxquels les bruits ont été enregistrés est analysé à la recherche de tendances potentielles. Dans le cas où l'analyse de tendance indique une augmentation du bruit, la présence d'une fuite est supposée.
