Abstract[English]
A high temperature sag resistant lightweight wallboard. The addition of a small amount of urea (about 0.1 %) significantly improves the high-temperature sag resistance on Type X gypsum wallboards. These gypsum wallboards may have a board weight of less than 2100 Ibs/msf when cast to have an overall 5.8 inch thickness, and may include glass fibers and/or mineral wool. Also, methods of making the gypsum wallboard and a wall system for employing the gypsum wallboard.[French]
L'invention concerne un panneau léger résistant à l'affaissement à haute température. L'ajout d'une petite quantité d'urée (environ 0,1 %) améliore significativement la résistance à l'affaissement à haute température sur des panneaux de gypse de type X. Ces panneaux de gypse peuvent avoir un poids de panneau inférieur à 2100 Ibs/msf lorsqu'ils sont coulés pour avoir une épaisseur globale de 5,8 pouces, et peuvent comprendre des fibres de verre et/ou de la laine minérale.
