Abstract[English]
Inflatable Penile prosthesis (iPP) implantation is a surgery for cases of erectile dysfunction, whereby two inflatable cylinders are inserted into the penis into two naturally-occuring cylinders named the corpora cavernosa (CC). This invention relates to Implant Insertion Instrument (SPIII) which is a combination of all four instruments in one a dilator, calibrator, insertion and free puncturing the iPP cylinders with the suture needle. Penile Prosthesis Implantation Instrument (SPPII)" is a combination of all four functions in one tool, as well as a mechanism for insertion of the implant without a needle; needle-free insertion mechanism.[French]
L'implantation de prothèse pénienne gonflable (IPP) est une intervention chirurgicale pour des cas de dysfonctionnement érectile, deux cylindres gonflables étant insérés dans le pénis dans deux cylindres naturels nommés corps caverneux (CC). Les CC doivent être dilatés avec un instrument, la longueur devant être mesurée avec un autre instrument. Ensuite, le cylindre d'IPP est introduit à l'aide d'un troisième instrument au moyen d'un mécanisme à aiguille-piston. L'aiguille pose des risques pour l'équipe chirurgicale et le patient. Enfin, l'incision doit être suturée, un procédé qui peut entraîner la perforation des cylindres d'IPP avec l'aiguille de suture. Les cylindres peuvent être protégés de l'aiguille de suture au moyen d'un quatrième instrument. Cela nécessite classiquement plusieurs instruments. L'instrument d'implantation de prothèse pénienne de Shaeer (SPPII) selon l'invention est une combinaison de l'ensemble des quatre fonctions en un outil, ainsi qu'un mécanisme d'insertion de l'implant sans aiguille : un mécanisme d'insertion sans aiguille.
