Abstract[English]
An accessory device for assisting insertion of a catheter. The accessory device comprises a handle comprising an attachment mechanism for releasably fixating a catheter to the handle along a first catheter axis, a camera for capturing one or more images, a rotation sensor configured to obtain positional information associated with the handle, an image processing module coupled to the rotation sensor and configured to process the one or more images in accordance with the positional information, and a monitor in communication with the camera. The monitor comprising a display configured to display the one or more images. The camera comprising a first optical axis defining a viewing direction.[French]
L'invention concerne un dispositif accessoire pour aider à l'insertion d'un cathéter. Le dispositif accessoire comprend une poignée comprenant un mécanisme de fixation pour fixer de manière amovible un cathéter à la poignée le long d'un premier axe de cathéter, une caméra pour capturer une ou plusieurs images, un capteur de rotation conçu pour obtenir des informations de position associées à la poignée, un module de traitement d'image couplé au capteur de rotation et conçu pour traiter la ou les images conformément aux informations de position, et un moniteur en communication avec la caméra.
