Abstract[English]
A method of regenerating the electrodes of an electrolyser with the electrodes in-situ within the electrolyser is disclosed. The method comprises providing at the electrodes in-situ in the electrolyser a salt solution and reacting the salt solution with the electrodes to cause regeneration of the electrodes. Also, a system for regenerating the electrodes comprising an electrolyser system and a storage container containing a salt capable of causing regeneration of the material of the electrodes when mixed with water to form a treatment salt solution. A controller for controlling the regeneration of the electrode in dependence on the availability of a suitable period of time and a sufficient power supply is also disclosed.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé de régénération des électrodes d'un électrolyseur avec les électrodes in situ à l'intérieur de l'électrolyseur. Le procédé comprend la fourniture au niveau des électrodes in situ dans l'électrolyseur d'une solution saline et la réaction de la solution saline avec les électrodes pour provoquer la régénération des électrodes. L'invention concerne également un système de régénération des électrodes comprenant un système d'électrolyseur et un récipient de stockage contenant un sel capable de provoquer la régénération du matériau des électrodes lorsqu'il est mélangé avec de l'eau pour former une solution saline de traitement. L'invention concerne également un dispositif de commande permettant de commander la régénération de l'électrode en fonction de la disponibilité d'une période de temps appropriée et d'une alimentation électrique suffisante.
