Die Erfindung betrifft eine Erdungseinheit (6) für einen modularen Industriesteckverbinder, wobei die Erdungseinheit (6) mit einer Funktionseinheit zu einem Steckverbindermodul (5, 5‘, 5“) verbindbar ist, wobei das Steckverbindermodul (5, 5‘, 5“) einen Modulplatz im modularen Steckverbinder belegt, wobei die Erdungseinheit (6) anschlussseitig zumindest zwei Leiteraufnahmen für jeweils einen Erdungsleiter (11) und steckseitig genau einen Erdungskontakt (14, 14‘) aufweist, wobei die Leiteraufnahmen (15) einen metallischen Aufnahmekörper (16) aufweisen, wobei die Erdungseinheit (6) ein metallisches Brückungselement (19) aufweist, welches die Aufnahmekörper (16) elektrisch leitend miteinander verbindet und wobei ein Aufnahmekörper (16) steckseitig elektrisch leitend direkt mit dem Erdungskontakt (14, 14‘) verbunden ist.[English]
