Die Erfindung betrifft eine Reifenbauanlage zum Aufwickeln von Reifenbauteilen zu einem unvulkanisierten Rohreifen, umfassend eine Reifenaufbautrommel (1) mit einer darauf aufgebrachten Karkassmanschette (10), wobei die Reifenaufbautrommel (1) mit der Karkassmanschette (10) um eine Drehachse (D) rotierend antreibbar ist und eine Zuführeinrichtung zum Zuführen der Reifenbauteile auf den Außenumfang der Karkassmanschette (10) vorgesehen ist, wobei die Karkassmanschette (10) in mindestens einem Bereich ihrer Oberfläche eine Ausnehmung (100) aufweist, in die vor dem Zuführen der Reifenbauteile ein Gummibauteil (20) einlegbar und gemeinsam mit der Karkassmanschette (10) von den zugeführten Reifenbauteilen umwickelbar ist. Es wird ferner auch ein Verfahren zum Aufwickeln von Reifenbauteilen angegeben.[English]
