Die Erfindung betrifft ein kompaktes Privacy-Display zum Einbau in einer Instrumententafel eines Fahrzeugs. Das Privacy-Display umfasst einen zur Erzeugung eines Lichtstrahlenbündels mit gewünschtem Anzeigeinhalt ausgebildeten Bildgeber und eine das Lichtstrahlenbündel durchlassende Deckscheibe zur Anordnung in einem Oberflächenabschnitt der Instrumententafel, der einem Fahrzeuginsassen auf einem vorderen Fahrzeugsitz zugewandt ist. Es umfasst ferner eine im Strahlengang zwischen dem Bildgeber und der Deckscheibe angeordnete Projektions- und/oder Abbildungsoptik, die zum Darstellen des Anzeigeinhalts als ein vor oder hinter der Deckscheibe in der Luft schwebendes reales Bild bzw. virtuelles Bild ausgebildet ist. Dabei ist die Deckscheibe zum Umlenken des Lichtstrahlenbündels nach oben prismenförmig ausgebildet, um einen für das Privacy-Display benötigten Bauraum vertikal zu stauchen und das Lichtstrahlenbündel dabei direkt in Richtung eines für die Augen des genannten Insassen vorbestimmten Raumbereichs auszugeben.[English]
The invention relates to a compact privacy display for installation in an instrument panel of a vehicle. The privacy display comprises an imager designed to generate a light beam comprising desired display content and a cover pane that is transparent to the light beam and is intended for arrangement in a surface section of the instrument panel that faces a vehicle occupant on a front vehicle seat. It also comprises a projection and/or imaging optical unit that is arranged between the imager and the cover pane in the beam path and is designed to display the display content as a real image or virtual image that hovers in the air in front of or behind the cover pane. The cover pane is designed to deflect the light beam upwards in a prism shape in order to vertically reduce an installation space required for the privacy display and to output the light beam directly in the direction of a region of space intended for the eyes of said occupant.[French]
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage confidentialité compact destiné à être monté dans un tableau de bord de véhicule. Le dispositif d'affichage confidentialité comprend un générateur d'images conçu de manière à générer un faisceau de rayons lumineux comportant le contenu d'affichage souhaité et une vitre de protection, laissant passer le faisceau de rayons lumineux, à monter dans une partie superficielle du tableau de bord tournée vers un occupant du véhicule se trouvant sur le siège avant du véhicule. Ledit dispositif comprend en outre une optique de projection et/ou d'imagerie disposée dans le trajet des rayons entre le générateur d'images et la vitre de protection et conçue de manière à représenter le contenu d'affichage sous la forme d'une image réelle ou d'une image virtuelle flottant dans l'air devant ou derrière la vitre de protection. Selon l’invention, la vitre de protection est conçue sous forme de prisme de manière à dévier le faisceau de rayons lumineux vers le haut, afin de comprimer verticalement un espace de montage requis pour le dispositif d'affichage confidentialité et d’émettre le faisceau de rayons lumineux directement en direction d'une zone spatiale prédéterminée pour les yeux dudit occupant.
