Die Erfindung betrifft eine Frontscheibe, die zum Einbau in einem Fahrzeug ausgebildet ist. Die Frontscheibe umfasst einen Polarisationsfilter, der sich über ihre gesamte Fläche oder zumindest über deren im Blickfeld eines Fahrers und/oder mindestens eines weiteren Fahrzeuginsassen, insbesondere eines Beifahrers, anzuordnenden Flächenabschnitt erstreckt. Der Polarisationsfilter ist dazu ausgelegt, horizontal oder s-polarisiertes sichtbares Licht, das von außerhalb des Fahrzeugs auf die Frontscheibe in einem von ihrer Normalenrichtung deutlich abweichenden vorbestimmten Flachwinkelbereich fällt, der zumindest Einfallswinkel des Blendlichts aufgrund reflektierender Horizontalflächen vor dem Fahrzeug umfasst, im Wesentlichen vollständig zu reflektieren oder zu blockieren, und vertikal oder p-polarisiertes Licht dabei im Wesentlichen vollständig durchzulassen.[English]
The invention relates to a windscreen which is designed to be installed in a vehicle. The windscreen comprises a polarisation filter, which extends over the entire surface of the windscreen or at least over a surface portion thereof which can be arranged in the visual field of a driver and/or at least one further occupant of the vehicle, in particular a front-seat passenger. The polarisation filter is designed to substantially completely reflect or block horizontally or s-polarised visible light, which is incident on the windscreen from outside the vehicle in a predefined low-angular range that is significantly different from its normal direction, which low-angular range includes at least the angle of incidence of the glare owing to reflective horizontal surfaces in front of the vehicle, and to allow vertically or p-polarised light to substantially completely pass through.[French]
L'invention concerne un pare-brise conçu pour être installé dans un véhicule.
