Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fahrzeugtür (1) für ein Fahrzeug, mit einem türaußenseitigen, oberhalb einer Türbrüstung (9) der Fahrzeugtür (1) angeordneten Griffelement (17), wobei das Griffelement (17) relativ zu einem Basiskörper (4) der Fahrzeugtür (1) zwischen einer Ruhestellung (R) und wenigstens einer ersten Betätigungsstellung (B1) bewegbar an dem Basiskörper (4) gehalten ist. Durch Bewegen des Griffelements (17) aus der Ruhestellung (R) in die erste Betätigungsstellung (B1) ist ein Schloss, mittels welchem die zwischen einer Schließstellung und wenigstens einer Offenstellung bewegbar an einem Aufbau des Fahrzeugs anordenbare Fahrzeugtür (1) in der Schließstellung zu sichern ist, elektrisch entriegelbar ist. Das Griffelement (17) ist relativ zu dem Basiskörper (4) aus der ersten Betätigungsstellung (B1) in eine zweite Betätigungsstellung (B2) bewegbar ist, wodurch das Schloss mechanisch entriegelbar ist.
