Eine Kameraeinheit (30) hat einen Erfassungsbereich (32), welcher zumindest einen Teilbereich (34) des Staplerbereichs (20) umfasst, der sich außerhalb des Staplerrades (22) und außerhalb des in dem Staplerfach (24) ausgebildeten Wertdokumentstapels (14) befindet, wobei die Kameraeinheit (30) ein Bild (35) zu erfasst, welches einen Ist-Zustand (36) in zumindest dem Teilbereich (34) darstellt. Eine Verarbeitungseinheit (60) wertet das von der Kameraeinheit (30) erfasste Bild (35) aus, wobei die Auswertung eine Erkennung umfasst, ob der Ist-Zustand (36) des Teilbereichs (34) von einem Soll-Zustand (37) des Teilbereichs (34) abweicht.
