Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Schloss (1) für ein Kraftfahrzeug, insbesondere ein elektrisch betätigbares Schloss (1), aufweisend ein Gesperre (2) mit einer Drehfalle (4) und mindestens einer Sperrklinke (5, 6), wobei die Drehfalle (4) mittels der Sperrklinke (5, 6) zumindest in einer Hauptrastposition verrastbar ist, und einem im Eingriffsbereich zwischen Drehfalle (4) und Sperrklinke (5) angeordneten und in der Drehfalle (4) schwenkbeweglich gelagerten Rastelement (15), wobei eine Position der Sperrklinke (5, 6) unmittelbar von einem Schaltmittel (11, 12) erfassbar ist.[English]
