Die Erfindung betrifft ein maschinell erkennbares, biologisch abbaubares, polymeres Wertdokumentsubstrat, umfassend ein zumindest im Wesentlichen auf nachwachsenden Rohstoffen basierendes, polymeres Verbundsubstrat und zumindest einen im Verbundsubstrat eingebetteten, maschinell erkennbaren Merkmalsstoff, wobei der maschinell erkennbare Merkmalsstoff bei Anregung mit Licht einer geeigneten Wellenlänge, insbesondere bei Anregung mit Licht im UV-Wellenlängenbereich oder IR-Wellenlängenbereich, eine charakteristische Lumineszenzemission aufweist.[English]
