Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Halbbleches (1) einer Bipolarplatte (1'), umfassend die Schritte: - Walzen (V1) eines Blechbandes (B), - wobei in wenigstens einem ersten Bereich (2) des Blechbandes (B) auf eine einheitliche erste Blechdicke (d1) gewalzt wird und in wenigstens einem zweiten Bereich (3) des Blechbandes (B) auf eine einheitliche zweite Blechdicke (d2) gewalzt wird, - wobei die erste Blechdicke (d1 ) größer als die zweite Blechdicke (d2) ausgebildet wird und der erste Bereich (2) und der zweite Bereich (3) jeweils eben ausgebildet werden, - Einbringen (V2) einer kanalförmigen Oberflächenstruktur (5) in den wenigstens einen ersten Bereich (2), - Schneiden des Blechbandes (B) zur Abtrennung des Halbbleches (1) von dem Blechband (B), wobei das Halbblech (1 ) zumindest einen ersten Bereich (2) und einen zweiten Bereich (3) aufweist. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung eine Bipolarplatte sowie eine elektrochemische Zelle.[English]
