An automatic cable insertion device, comprising: an insertion station, where a product to be tested is placed; a material picking unit, which is used for acquiring a component to be inserted, moving said component to a material picking position, and adjusting the distance between insertion points of said component, such that the distance matches the distance between insertion points of said product; an insertion unit, which is used for gripping said component and inserting same into said product; and a control module, which is used for controlling and coordinating the operations of the material picking unit and the insertion unit. Before performing material picking, the material picking unit can precisely adjust the position of said component and the distance between the insertion points, so as to ensure precise matching with the insertion points of said product. The position of said component and the distance between the insertion points are adjusted by means of the material picking unit, such that the workflow of the insertion unit is simplified, thereby shortening the time consumed in terms of adjustment and alignment for the insertion unit.[French]
