Abstract[English] Provided are improved engineered halohydrin dehalogenases that can tolerate high substrate concentrations and has high substrate specificity and activity. The engineered halohydrin dehalogenase is capable of converting (R) -styrene oxide from racemic styrene oxide to (S) -4-phenyl-2-oxazolidinone; and resolving racemic styrene oxide to obtain (S)-styrene oxide in high purity.[French] La présente invention concerne des halohydrines déhalogénases améliorées qui peuvent tolérer des concentrations élevées de substrat et qui présentent une spécificité et une activité de substrat élevées.
