Abstract[English]
There is provided a method for WLAN sensing protection. A symmetric key is established between an initiator and a responder. The symmetric key is used to parameterize a transformation function. When measurement signals are transmitted by the initiator, they are first transformed by the transformation function. When these measurement signals are received at the responder, the responder applies the inverse of the transformation function to the received signal. The responder may then analyze the received and transformed signal and provide a measurement report back to the initiator.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé de protection de la détection par un WLAN. Une clé symétrique est établie entre un initiateur et un répondeur. La clé symétrique est utilisée pour paramétrer une fonction de transformation. Lorsque des signaux de mesure sont transmis par l'initiateur, ils sont d'abord transformés par la fonction de transformation. Lorsque ces signaux de mesure sont reçus au niveau du répondeur, le répondeur applique l'inverse de la fonction de transformation au signal reçu. Le répondeur peut ensuite analyser le signal reçu et transformé et fournir un rapport de mesure en retour à l'initiateur.
