Abstract[English]
This disclosure relates to a receiver device for pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) signals. The receiver device calculates a transmitter dispersion eye closure quaternary (TDECQ). The receiver device first obtains a signal, wherein the signal is based on a PAM signal sent by a transmitter device over a channel to the receiver device, and filters the obtained signal. Further, the transmitter device equalizes the filtered signal using a FFE with multiple taps, and filters the equalized signal output by the FFE using a 2-tap post filter, wherein high frequency noise caused by the FFE is compressed. The receiver device applies a Max-Log-Map (MLM) algorithm on the filtered signal output by the 2-tap post filter, reconstructs a signal constellation of the PAM signal based on the result of the MLM algorithm, and calculates a TDECQ based on the reconstructed signal constellation.[French]
La présente divulgation concerne un dispositif récepteur pour des signaux de modulation d'amplitude d'impulsion (PAM). Le dispositif récepteur calcule un fermeture des yeux de l'émetteur et de la dispersion quaternaire (TDECQ). Le dispositif récepteur obtient d'abord un signal, le signal étant basé sur un signal PAM envoyé par un dispositif émetteur sur un canal au dispositif récepteur, et filtre le signal obtenu. En outre, le dispositif émetteur égalise le signal filtré à l'aide d'un FFE avec de multiples prises, et filtre le signal égalisé délivré par le FFE à l'aide d'un post-filtre à 2 prises, le bruit haute fréquence provoqué par le FFE étant comprimé. Le dispositif récepteur applique un algorithme Max-Log-Map (MLM) sur le signal filtré délivré par le post-filtre à 2 prises, reconstruit une constellation de signaux du signal PAM sur la base du résultat de l'algorithme MLM, et calcule un TDECQ sur la base de la constellation de signaux reconstruite.
