A Multi-Link Device, MLD, (110; 120) with a plurality of affiliated access points, APs, (113a, b) or non-AP stations (123a, b) is disclosed for communication via a plurality of links (115a, b) with a further MLD (120; 110) with a plurality of affiliated non-AP stations (123a, b) or APs (113a, b). The MLD (110; 120) is configured to generate a link protection key for each of the plurality of links (115a, b) with the further MLD (120; 110) and encrypt and/or digitally sign at least a portion of one or more frames based on the link protection key of the plurality of link protection keys associated with a selected link of the plurality of links (115a, b). Moreover, the MLD (110; 120) is configured to transmit the one or more frames to the further MLD (120; 110) via the selected link. The MLD (110; 120) provides an improved per-link security.[French]
