Abstract[English]
System and method for semantic segmentation of point clouds. The method may include: generating, via a first neural network, a birds-eye-view (BEV) image of the environment from the aggregated point cloud; generating, via a second neural network, a labelled BEV image from the BEV image, wherein each pixel in the labelled BEV image is associated with a class label from a set of class labels; generating a BEV feature map; and generating, via a third neural network, the road surface segmentation map in the form of a refined labelled BEV image based on the labelled BEV image by smoothing the labelled BEV image using the BEV feature map, wherein each pixel in the refined labelled BEV image is associated with a class label from the set of class labels.[French]
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de segmentation sémantique de nuages de points. Le procédé peut consister à : générer, par l'intermédiaire d'un premier réseau neuronal, une image de vue d'œil d'oiseau (BEV) de l'environnement à partir du nuage de points agrégé ; générer, par l'intermédiaire d'un deuxième réseau neuronal, une image BEV marquée à partir de l'image BEV, chaque pixel dans l'image BEV marquée étant associé à une étiquette de classe à partir d'un ensemble d'étiquettes de classe ; générer une carte de caractéristiques BEV ; et générer, par l'intermédiaire d'un troisième réseau neuronal, la carte de segmentation de surface de route sous la forme d'une image BEV marquée affinée sur la base de l'image BEV marquée par lissage de l'image BEV marquée à l'aide de la carte de caractéristiques BEV, chaque pixel dans l'image BEV marquée affinée étant associé à une étiquette de classe à partir de l'ensemble d'étiquettes de classe.
