Abstract[English]
The present disclosure relates to polarization-frequency and/or polarization-time block coding of a stream of symbols and modulating a carrier wave with an optical transmitter. The optical transmitter is configured to modulate a first polarization of the carrier wave and a second polarization of the carrier wave orthogonal to the first polarization based on the stream of data symbols to generate a modulated carrier wave, and transmit the modulated carrier wave. A frequency spectrum of an entire modulated portion of the first polarization of the modulated carrier wave and a frequency spectrum of an entire modulated portion of the second polarization of the modulated carrier wave are not overlapping.[French]
La présente divulgation concerne le codage par blocs de fréquence de polarisation et/ou de polarisation d'un flux de symboles et la modulation d'une onde porteuse avec un émetteur optique.
