Abstract[English]
A method for generating channel state information (CSI). The method includes determining the maximum amplitude of the real and imaginary parts of each element of a channel matrix, converting each maximum amplitude to a fixed-point value within a predefined range, determining a bit-shifting number for each maximum amplitude by comparing each fixed-point value with a series of predefined threshold values within the predefined range, quantizing the real and imaginary parts of each element of the channel matrix to an integer, and bit-shifting each of the quantized real and imaginary parts of each element of the channel matrix towards the most significant bit (MSB) by the corresponding bits and truncating the bit-shifted result to a predefined number of bits for generating channel state information (CSI) for use in communication.[French]
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour générer des informations d’état de canal (CSI). Le procédé comprend la détermination de l’amplitude maximale des parties réelle et imaginaire de chaque élément d’une matrice de canal, la conversion de chaque amplitude maximale en une valeur à virgule fixe dans une plage prédéfinie, la détermination d’un nombre de bits de décalage pour chaque amplitude maximale en comparant chaque valeur à virgule fixe à une série de seuils de valeur prédéfinis dans la plage prédéfinie, la quantification des parties réelle et imaginaire de chaque élément de la matrice de canal à un entier, et le décalage du nombre de bits de chaque partie réelle et imaginaire quantifiée de chaque élément de la matrice de canal vers le bit le plus significatif (MSB) par les bits correspondants et la troncation du résultat suite au décalage de bits à un nombre prédéfinis de bits pour générer des informations d’état de canal (CSI) à utiliser dans des communications.
