Abstract[English]
Methods and systems for quantifying client contribution in federated learning are described. Multiple rounds of training are conducted with a plurality of clients. In each round of training, updates are received from selected clients, one or more utility function values are computed for the given round of training using the received updates and the computed utility function values are stored in a utility matrix. After the multiple rounds of training, missing entries of the utility matrix are completed by computing a completed utility matrix. A contribution score is computed for each client using the completed utility matrix.[French]
L'invention concerne des procédés et des systèmes pour quantifier une contribution de client dans l'apprentissage fédéré. De multiples cycles d'entraînement sont menés avec une pluralité de clients. Dans chaque cycle d'entraînement, des mises à jour sont reçues de la part de clients sélectionnés, une ou plusieurs valeurs de fonction d'utilité sont calculées pour le cycle d'entraînement donné en utilisant les mises à jour reçues et les valeurs de fonction d'utilité calculées sont stockées dans une matrice d'utilité. Après les multiples cycles d'entraînement, des entrées manquantes de la matrice d'utilité sont achevées par calcul d'une matrice d'utilité achevée.
