Method and systems for controlling a display device, including detecting a mid-air gesture using a sensing device; mapping the detected mid-air gesture to locations of an interaction region, the interaction region including an on-screen region of the display device and an off-screen region that is located outside an edge of the on-screen region; and performing a display device control action upon detecting an edge interaction based on the mapping of the detected mid-air gesture to locations that interact with the edge of the on-screen region.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé et des systèmes de commande d'un dispositif d'affichage, comprenant les étapes consistant à détecter un geste en l'air à l'aide d'un dispositif de détection ; mapper le geste en l'air détecté à des emplacements d'une région d'interaction, la région d'interaction comprenant une région sur l'écran du dispositif d'affichage et une région hors écran qui est située à l'extérieur d'un bord de la région sur écran ; et réaliser une action de commande de dispositif d'affichage lors de la détection d'une interaction de bord sur la base du mappage du geste en l'air détecté à des emplacements qui interagissent avec le bord de la région sur écran.
