Abstract[English]
Methods, devices and media for customization and expression of a personality of a robot (POR) are described. POR information is defined by a human user using a POR configuration interface. The POR information indicates the frequency with which the robot expresses certain intensities of certain emotions. The POR information is processed to select a subset of expression assets, such as facial expressions and/or bodily expressions, from a collection of expression assets designed by a human artist or designer according to a set of design rules, thereby generating a set of POR-specific expression assets. During an interaction with a user, emotional content of the interaction is determined and mapped to POR-specific expression assets. Dynamic expressions are generated, based on the POR-specific expression assets corresponding to the emotional content of the interaction, and are synthesized into visual animations to be displayed on a display device.[French]
L'invention concerne des procédés, des dispositifs et des supports pour la personnalisation et l'expression de la personnalité d'un robot (POR). Des informations de POR sont définies par un utilisateur humain à l'aide d'une interface de configuration de POR. Les informations de POR indiquent la fréquence à laquelle le robot exprime certaines intensités de certaines émotions.
