Abstract[English]
The computer-implemented method serves for assessing cotton suppliers supplying raw cotton to cotton processors (21-2.4). It comprises the steps of: receiving by a server computer system (1) from at least one cotton processor (2.1-2.4) measurement sets for different cotton samples, each measurement set comprising at least one measured value for at least one cotton-quality parameter (a-h), and information on the cotton supplier of the cotton sample; assigning to each measurement set the information on the cotton supplier; storing in a database (12) the measurement sets together with the assigned information; statistically evaluating the measurement sets; and transmitting a result of the statistical evaluation comparing at least two different cotton suppliers, together with the information on the at least two cotton suppliers, to a client computer (8). The method facilitates an efficient and environmentally friendly trading of raw cotton.[French]
Le procédé mis en œuvre par ordinateur sert à évaluer des fournisseurs de coton fournissant du coton brut à des transformateurs de coton (2,1 - 2,4). Il comprend les étapes suivantes : la réception par un système informatique serveur (1) à partir d'au moins un transformateur de coton (2,1-2,4) d'ensembles de mesures pour différents échantillons de coton, chaque ensemble de mesures comprenant au moins une valeur mesurée pour au moins un paramètre de qualité de coton (a-h), et des informations sur le fournisseur de coton de l'échantillon de coton ; l'attribution, à chaque ensemble de mesures, des informations sur le fournisseur de coton ; le stockage, dans une base de données (12), des ensembles de mesures conjointement avec les informations attribuées ; l'évaluation statistique des ensembles de mesures ; et la transmission d'un résultat de l'évaluation statistique comparant au moins deux fournisseurs de coton différents, conjointement avec les informations sur les au moins deux fournisseurs de coton, à un ordinateur client (8). Le procédé facilite un échange efficace et respectueux de l'environnement de coton brut.
