Abstract[English]
An interbody cage system for the spinal column constituted of at least two members: one base member (also named a cage body) which receives the pivoting means of a pivoting member (also named an extension member), and one extension member, structured to pivot around an axis on the cage body to engage a vertebra from a first wrapped or stowed configuration to a second unwrapped or deployed configuration such that the perimeters of the contact surfaces between the interbody cage and the vertebrae and/or the height of the interbody cage increase from the stowed configuration to the deployed configuration, where in the wrapped or stowed configuration, one of the base member and extension member covers at least in part the surface of the other of the base member and extension member.[French]
Système de cage intersomatique pour la colonne vertébrale constitué d'au moins deux éléments : un élément de base (également nommé corps de cage) qui reçoit le moyen pivotant d'un élément pivotant (également nommé élément d'extension), et un élément d'extension, structuré pour pivoter autour d'un axe sur le corps de cage pour engager une vertèbre à partir d'une première configuration enveloppée ou rabattue vers une seconde configuration non enveloppée ou déployée de sorte que les périmètres des surfaces de contact entre la cage intersomatique et les vertèbres et/ou la hauteur de la cage intersomatique augmentent depuis la configuration rabattue vers la configuration déployée, où dans la configuration enveloppée ou rabattue, l'un de l'élément de base et de l'élément d'extension recouvre au moins en partie la surface de l'autre de l'élément de base et de l'élément d'extension.
