Abstract[English]
An interbody cage for the spinal column structured as a scaffold made of at least two folding and unfolding scaffoldings: one base member (also named a cage body) which receives the pivoting means of a pivoting member (also named an extension member), and one extension member, structured to pivot around an axis on the cage body from a first folded or stowed configuration to a second unfolded or deployed configuration such that the perimeters of the contact surfaces between the interbody cage and the vertebrae and/or the height of the interbody cage increase from the stowed configuration to the deployed configuration.[French]
L'invention concerne une cage intersomatique de la colonne vertébrale structurée sous la forme d'un échafaudage constitué d'au moins deux échafaudages pliant et dépliant : un élément de base (également appelé corps de cage) qui reçoit le moyen de pivot d'un élément pivotant (également appelé élément de déploiement), et un élément de déploiement, structuré pour pivoter autour d'un axe sur le corps de cage d'une première configuration pliée ou rangée à une seconde configuration dépliée ou déployée de sorte que les périmètres des surfaces de contact entre la cage intersomatique et les vertèbres et/ou la hauteur de la cage intersomatique augmentent de la configuration rangée à la configuration déployée.
